New Sandwich Shop in Split – Art&Čok

Art&Čok is a gourmet sandwich shop which was recently opened by Peco recently right next to Split’s fish-market.
(In Croatian ‘and’ is ‘i’ and ‘Č’ is ‘Ch’ – so the shop is ‘artichoke’.)
Peco spent 20 years in the UK and has brought all his knowledge back home, producing sandwiches filled grilled vegetables, roasted pork, marinated chicken, etc. His telephone number is 021.346.003 – keep it handy when here as he will soon be offering take-away soups and salads.

Fantastic news Peco!!!
We are half here and half in Romans d’Isonzo but will be soon together again.
Liz and I wanted to write to you and Melanie for so long but unfortunately I have no connection to the web here and the same story applies to Romans.
Things have not gone according to plan but life is like that. We are working hard to organise another plan and carry on towards our objectives.

Great find! Wasn’t looking for a sandwich but remembered your blog posting and had to have a look. Walked out with a delicious fresh Ciabata sandwich of grilled chicken, mushrooms, salad, and slightly spicy mayonnaise.
